50 million uninsured is bogus... 20 million of them are illegals... 14 million of them can get insurance but choose not to because they think they don't need it, mostly the young and stupid... 8 million of them are eligible for already existing government subsidies but do not apply for whatever personal reasons... This leaves only 8 million legitimately uninsured... So, let's trash the entire health care system of 300,000,000 people who are happy with their coverage just so the remaining 8 million can have coverage... The only problem with our current health care system is that it's expensive, nothing more than that... for those 8 million, a subsidy of some sort could easily be arranged... why burn down a whole house when we only need to repair one room? GZ
