There's a huge multiplier effect These guys are specialists at using leverage. And now that they know they can't fail, why not dump it into the market. Look at AIG. Even after already being pulled up with the mkt, due to the value of their previously written down holdings appreciating with the reflated market, their stock has gone ballistic. Think of the returns and qtrly and year end bonuses for these best and brightest! Reschedule the spa trips and tell Congress(AKA their bitches) to eff off once and for all.
