Our favorite sector has outperformed (first time in a long time).

Don's tables show us that we've had a slight breather here.

Our sector has been slapped down so many times that it is almost a involountary reaction to sell at any weakness.

Here we go and it scares me to say this:
"THIS TIME IT IS DIFFERENT".

Who ever said you have to let your winners run is my kind of leader.

After a terrible 9 years we
're running and I all for letting them use all of the leash - WE NEED IT!!!

Enjoy.

Bob, Thanks for the post, you make a lot of good points. We have had a nice run up in stock prices since the Nov to Mar period. Basically, the SOX has gone from under 200 in that time frame to about 300 now.

The SOX lows set in the Nov area haven't been seen since back in 1996. Since Nov the runup has been in the 50 percent plus area. We still have another 200 points to go to get back to the 500 area of 2004 to 2007. Nothing seems to be impossible in the stock market so we could go straight to the 500 area from here, but I would think it more likely to "bounce along the bottom" for a little while until we reach the 500 level.

Also, wouldn't it be nice to break the 500 level in the future and go into higher territory? That may be a much higher mountain to climb.
