I bought a Civic LX with automatic. Sticker was $18,975, and the dealer sold it to me for $16,270 less the $4500 clunker money, so it was net $11,800 before tax.

Best regards,
John

SF, the thing that surprised me is that the price quoted at the dealer was about $700 less than that on internet outfits like Carsdirect. Perhaps some new EOY incentives from Honda have kicked in... I don't know if there was more bargaining room there, but I didn't bother. They did get me for those overpriced mudguards though, as all their lot cars already have them, but I can live with that, as they are somewhat useful.

Regards,
John
