oh bummer! It is simple! When everyone knows the market should go down it goes up because the majority are short on margin. The strong rally only confirms the marketnis going to break down. Clue Federal tax revenues are the lowest since 1932 and this Bamah and congress are spending like there is no tomorrow. The greenback is headed toward worth less or even worthless. Buy energy short everything else.

Oh bummer! Where are the great declines in commercial real estate that were and are being predicted? We still have not experienced them as yet. They are , I am afraid to say, just beginning. At our local mall The Ground Round which has been in the mall since it opened just closed last week along with the jewelry store Zales. As the entertainer Al Jolson used to say "you ain't seen nothing yet". There isn't any rally as sharp as a rally in a bear market. When all the analyst say the new bull market has begun sell everything. The reality is this is going to be worst than anything you ever saw. I don't even think we can depend on a world war to get is out of the mess we are in. Can you imagine what a world war in this day and age would look like. Do you think Saddam Hussein wouldn't have used chemical or atomic weapons if he had any? As the world ends you really want to be short everything.

The market as you are aware is cyclical and futuristic.

The market was declining the whole time that Obama was running for office in anticipation of a possible win by him and continued to decline into early March during Obam's honeymoon.

Could it be that the honeymoon is ending and we are now into the "throw the bums" out movement that is gaining momentum.

The market is also multi-faceted----depends on the stocks you are in or not in.

I suggest you pose that question to Goldman Sacs and the hedge funds. Naked shorting disappears beginning of September--------those who sold short for the last 3 years now have to cover-----and of course go long or get it to a level where they can short again. Seems like a lot of short covering rallies.

What do you think?
