They aren't the NE havens for socialists and other extreme liberals. And the reason is simple -- there are insane zoning requirements and difficult real estate markets, and serious problems with extreme activists.

Now I understand......zoning regulations can be a big problem for a company whose ideology doesn't allow for them.

Of course, that's the intent of zoning regulations.....to keep the riff raff out. ;-)
