That link ties you to Bupa, one of the largest independent health insurance companies in the world. A very 'healthy'(!) and thus profitable group prospering while still having to compete against the various government run programs world wide. That was just to point out that no government run programs out compete private enterprise - including to but certainly not limited to the health sector. Yes, why not? They offer packages tailored to many different situations and in particular so expatriates active in most places of the world. Taro
