Fine manny, you have the power to tax and spend through voting. But as a man or woman you also have the power to accept the burden on others for what you assumed was acceptable, and you and imposed on others by assumption.

Why not take the first step to prove your not just a generalist and accept the taxation of two non voters picked at random, so that you may sleep knowing you did no harm?

because as it sits...you cannot say you did no harm and the metaphor of voting versus non voting, isnt just a metaphor, but a story about real people with differences with your opinions.

BTW if No was a ballot option....extenuating circumstances might actually elect someone sometimes, but most of the time the office would remain vacant and the do no harm philosophy of real people with character and foresight, would keep washington running on empty.

I have a solution to our national debt & healthcare concern.

A Kleenex cost me $.01 to blow my nose.
It feels great on my face & it clears my head to think better.

Kimberly Clark has long ago made a profit capitalizing on the holy grail of 'profit thru many'.

Stating a good fact or linking an idea thru a blog or post on the internet also allows me to clear my head and share my thinking better too.

In an effort to solve our nations tax & healthcare problems,
Wouldn't it be in our 'greater interest' to charge a mere $.001 (1 tenth of 1 penny) to every person wishing to communicate a thought or good idea via email, text & blog they were so inclined to send up on the internet?

Just by thinking and telling others of your thoughts for a very low cost would probably solve our national debt & healthcare problem in one stroke.

Do the math,
It actually works well at much lower costs than I propose.

I didn't want to confuse anyone with more zeros trying to get my point across...

I leave that 'virtue' to your local politicians.

Tim

PS. My idea* (*unoriginal but gaining ground) will probably put an end to the 'finger diarrhea' of most inet texters, bloggers and posters.
