The gross market value for OTC derivatives was 33.889 Trillion
in December, while the notional came down from 600 T to 500 T.
That's when vol. was high and the markets were in distress.

I would be interested in what happened in June. My bet is the
gross market value came down substantially, while the notional
value shot up higher. If so, the Ponzi was not cured, just re-inflated.

Thus, one still needs to trade with the models, as these became stronger
than ever. For comparison, global stock market capitalization was also
30 Trillion or so in December.
