Thanks don, but I guess what I am trying to understand is that the term "technical damage" means there has be a single move or a combination of moves of more than one technical measure that is beyond the normal bounds defined by TA and therefore, the conculsions one might draw from the movement of the indicator(s) are not reliable. Is this the jist of what is meant by "technical damage"? From your later post, it seemed you were trying to "recallibrate" your read by combining news events and the movement of the market to establish a new "base line" to work from. Is this close? Many thanks, just trying to make sure I understand the context of your insights into the market.
