I posted that piece about the Left's moral absolutism it has become obvious to me the most extreme "holier than thou" types in our society are the leftists. As an example, I recently had a leftwinger tell me the late Molly Ivins was a great "humanitarian". When asked what she DID to deserve that description, he said she "was for the poor". Leftwingers ascribe moral virtue to themselves and moral evil to those who disagree with them based on their positions on whatever issue the left has decided to champion.
