Oh, I think you're absolutely correct to point out the excessive "me too-isms" in the media...that should set off caution lights, at least. But I do think a correction/consolidation phase is not only due, it's already happening:

This chart shows the Q's have been working off a severely overbought condition for about two weeks now (even though prices have NOT collapsed). The SPX looks similar and is in day 5 of its consolidation phase. A price collapse could happen, but it isn't strictly necessary for yet another leg up to occur. Whether a consolidation or collapse, I prefer to stand aside until it sorts itself out.

Gold miners have also been correcting for almost a week now:

So, right now, I'm long the few techs I mentioned earlier (always with an eye towards the exit) and am waiting patiently on a new buy signal for the miners.
