It's terrific to lower taxes, as Jack Kennedy did, when you you can do so without raising the national debt to income ratio.

When a senile old man decides to dress up like a cowboy and spend a lot of money the country doesn't have, especially in the absence of any emergency, it's simply bad news.

It reflects very badly on most Americans that they participated in this self-destructive behavior. Obviously many are imbeciles. Reagan voters actively participated in the destruction of their nation. Perhaps traitor is a better description than imbecile.

It doesn't matter if the money you don't have is being spent for lower taxes or park benches. Making up a story that spending money you don't have on lower taxes will magically create more taxes simply made the action even more criminal.
