>>Like Obama you think you have some kind of "right" to have your every need met by the nanny state.

This is the reason most Americans are angry about what Obama is doing. Most of us take care of ourselves and don't WANT the government involved in our lives.<<

Government is what saved us during WWII!!

It was a good thing government was involved in our lives, or we might be speaking German or Japanese today!

We may yet have to fight another big war with China or Russia or Pakistan. You better hope government is very strong if we do.

It has nothing to do with a nanny state. A nanny state portends mankind can live on his own. Anyone banished from the tribe in days past, died without the protection from the tribe.

The human species is a pack animal and by nature we live in tribes. Both the health of the individual and the health of the tribe have to be respected.

The reason the individual has a vested interest in keeping the tribe strong is to protect the individual. In days past a strong tribe protected the individual from other tribes who would harm them or wild animals or to get food, which was shared.

During WWII we all sacrificed for the tribe (rationed gas and had victory gardens) to make the tribe strong enough to fight Hitler and the Japanese.

Any of that make sense to you?

To be able to afford my health insurance, I set my deductible at $2k. Consequently, its only any use should I experience a catastrophic event. It does me no good when I need a shot or some medicine.

Like Obama you think you have some kind of "right" to have your every need met by the nanny state.

Fukk you. 50 million can't afford health insurance in this country. And then there are millions more like me who have barely adequate health care.

This is the reason most Americans are angry about what Obama is doing. Most of us take care of ourselves and don't WANT the government involved in our lives.

Then fine. Secede from the Union. The rest of us have been picking up the tab for you all for centuries now. And we're sick of it. So form you're own union where you can screw each other as often as possible.

You, RW, Al, and the rest, feel that you NEED government to take care of you.

I want cheaper health insurance.......it costs a small fortune these days. And there is no reason for it other than to keep private health insurance companies rich. And people like you who do nothing all day but post on this site while running their scam with those same companies.

Most Americans are angry because you assholes are telling lies.

Many Americans are angry because of the lies generated by your pundits.

Why in hell can't you manage 2k/year to pay for your own health care?

There are some who can't, but if you can't manage 2k/year, why in hell do you have an Internet connection? Get rid of it. You can't afford it. Go to the library and use Internet there. I don't want to buy your health care so you can spend your days on SI.

And I don't want to carry Arkansas any more. So leave the Union. We're tired of you freeloaders.
