Well, there is a difference between being a conservative and being a Republican...Krauthammer is a Republican who leans conservative....but like so many Republicans he is afraid to stand up to the dirty, bullying tactics of liberals and Dems because he wants to be liked....and he thinks the Dems are interested in getting along....(they aren't).

Krauthammer writes for the NYT so he must be liberal as well.

And he also thinks the crazies are shooting themselves in the foot.

Then he's definitely a liberal.
