And the military. We've heard about $600 hammers and $1,200 coffee makers until nobody has any reason to expect anything better from the government. We have 50 Trillion in unfunded liabilities between Medicare and Social Security, state Medicaids are broke and have been for years, Medicare Part A will be flat out of money in a few years, and they want to hand the rest of our health care system over to government. This is totally baffling to anyone who has actual experience in dealing with government.

This is what I don't understand. You live here. Time after time the government has started programs which supposedly were going to cost x and ended up costing x+ if were lucky. More often it is x times x. Those are the ones that are publicised. MANY, many times government programs come in under budget. And most times when they don't it's because of the private contractors doing the work. Government does more different things than any private company would even consider doing... and mostly they do them VERY well. It the reason this country is successful; our great government. You hate America guys I don't understand. Your government has made you... try living in Haiti where the taxes are low and the government doesn't impose on your precious 'freedom'.
