That really depends, especially since commute distances here are longer than that of most other metropolitan areas.

I only drive 10 miles to work each way, but I'm the exception. Most people drive 15-30 miles each way. No way you can rely on the battery alone every day, unless you recharge at work.

Hence the actual "MPG" will vary widely.
