Yes...slavery WASN'T ended by an activist court.

It wouldn't have been ended at all if Lincoln hadn't used the Emancipation Proclamation as a "political tool".

He could have just said slavery was O.K. and it might have carried on into the 20th century.

If it HAD carried on into the 20th century do you think that there EVER would have been a time for the courts to intervene?

Actually we DID have a form of slavery until 1964. The courts AGREED with you that black people shouldn't be allowed the rights of white people. They shouldn't be allowed to attend the same schools, they shouldn't be allowed to eat in the same public places, they shouldn't be allowed to vote.

Activist courts had NO real affect on the lives of black people.
