Sarah was the sweet darling of the Alaska Democrats and the arch enemy of establishment Republicans. She "palled around" with the Democrats to pass draconian new taxes on the oil and gas industry. The liberals adored her! The love fest started falling apart when TrooperGate arose, and then blew up completely when Sarah got the VP nod.
