Almost as bad as - why are insurance companies worried about competing with the Federal government? We can't even deliver the mail with out screwing it up.

Look, you gotta trust me, we're not going to kill your grandmother."

Obama took the question that yielded the denial of grandmother death wish answer, right after saying that he doesn't take planted questions at Town Hall events. [Again with that weird compulsion to highlight when he's telling a fib.]

The plant who asked the question about the *mean* signs against health care reform is the daughter of a big Obama donor. The young plant lobbed the Genius-in-Chief an easy softball (albeit a totally ridiculous one), which he immediately flubbed.

He actually denied "death squads", once again pitting himself against Sarah Palin, who is not running for anything.

Here's a guy who so believes his press clippings about his persuasive abilities that he thinks he can charm the nukes right out of the hands of dangerous mullahs or talk a nut like Kim Jong out of anything, yet he cannot articulate the merits of his health care agenda in a clear, concise way.

The reason, of course, is that it is difficult to have an honest discussion because Obeyme and the Dems don't really want the public to know what's in the plan, nor the fact that they are planning for socialized medicine across the board once the camel's nose gets sufficiently under the tent.

So we have an overexposed President, who has actually lied to the American public and is forced to constantly deny or "re-calibrate" statements to a degree never fathomed even by Bill "Depends On The Meaning of Is" Clinton; a Speaker who chooses to demonize her opponents and accuse them of being Nazis for not agreeing with her grand schemes; and a Democrat party that is so thin-skinned that political or popular opposition to its heavy handed agenda is characterized as "Un-American."

The worst part is that the compliant, malpracticing MSM is still hanging in there, carrying the water for the most deliberately divisive administration in memory.

The Bush administration never went out of its way to divide the country. The Bush hatred was instilled and fostered by the liberal Democrats.

By contrast, Obama and his henchpeople play the politics of division, and are right this moment playing the race card to explain away Obama's utter failure and inability to promote his health care agenda.

The public's problem with Obama has nothing to do with his skin color. It has everything to do with his radical politics and willingness to prevaricate.
