The trailer was packed to the top. We had our tent (the large one), 3 sleeping bags, 2 air mattresses/thermarest pads, clothes, etc. etc. Also, the tent, sleeping bag and pad of our friend Dave. As it was, we stayed in motels both nights - first night because we didn't have a good campground and didn't want to set up at 8:00 pm and risk rain. The second night because we didn't want to set up at 8:00 pm.

I really enjoy traveling this way - with no firmly fixed plans. If you reserve ahead of time, you're locked into a schedule. If you go with the flow, and stop where you feel like stopping, there's a lot more freedom. Of course, we got the last room in Packwood, but that's fine. It all worked out.
