Hi Karen!! Was thinking I might hear from you in regard to the little bit of theatre we enjoyed in this part of the world yesterday.

Had it been held anywhere in NH other than Portsmouth, I might have given more consideration to making the trip. But I do my best to avoid the NH Seacoast Region during July & August (I head to the mountains or back to the Maine coast for my summer getaways!) The pulse of Portsmouth in summer comes primarily from the MA, CT & NY refugees - not NH residents!

Interesting video .. including a little footage of who's really in the busses rolling in to the town meetings!

Obama's Portsmouth Appearance

Sadly Karen, I can't say how the town meetings are going in our area cuz' we aren't having any. I would have attended a real NH town hall meeting if one of our esteemed, elected representatives had actually had one.

In a distressing new development the politicians in New Hampshire no longer seem interested or willing to talk to the people. New Hampshire’s congressional delegation has exactly zero town hall meetings with constituents planned for the August recess.

In re to Obama's Portsmouth lovefest (oops I mean "town hall meeting") the other day, I forgot to mention the other notable event that caused an on-air MSNBC meltdown. Granted the guy should've probably left his gun at home that day, but it's quite telling that there was no reaction from the crowd around him, but the MSNBC commentators were having a cow and calling for lawyers, lawyers, quick!!
