Are you incapable of absorbing logic? WMD's could never destroy our entire country.

No logic there in your post.....WMDs could do very serious harm to our citizenry...and the Presidents "job one" is to protect the US and its citizens.

Bush destroyed our army, national guard, military equipment and our treasury on the Iraq brush fire, while China and Russia grew stronger.

Poppycock. The US military is the finest in the world.

Bush wanted the war with Iraq for oil and religous reasons.

Religious reasons? WTF are you smoking?

And leaving a madman and sworn enemy of the US sitting on top of the world's second largest proven oil reserves given the importance of such reserves to the world economy was certainly a factor as it should have been, logically speaking of course. No doubt Saddam's refusal to honor the 91 Gulf war ceasefire agreement, and his shooting at UK and US airmen patrolling the no-fly zones also factored in, logically speaking.

You are certainly clueless and your post has no logic to it.

J

So its illogical to be concerned about WMD's unless they can destroy ALL of our country? Its thinking like that that make people believe we shouldn't trust liberals with our national security.

As for the war being for oil and religion, we haven't taken their oil and we haven't imposed our religion on them.

As I pointed out, the case for the war wasn't just Bush and Cheney, Clinton era CIA and other officials argued for it as well. See Kennneth Pollack's The Threatening Storm: The Case for Invading Iraq.

"One of the most important books on American foreign policy in years. There is no greater strategic challenge than Iraq, and nobody better qualified to tackle it than Kenneth Pollack. To have such comprehensive, high-quality professional analysis available publicly and in real time is simply extraordinary. From now on, all serious debate over how to handle Saddam starts here."
-Gideon Rose, Managing Editor, Foreign Affairs

"Iraq is at the top of America's foreign policy agenda and this book should be at the top of your reading list. Kenneth Pollack approaches the problem of Saddam Hussein without ideological blinkers or prejudices. He provides an clear-eyed account of the breakdown of American policy toward Saddam Hussein and makes a powerful case for a shift in that policy. Whether or not you agree with Pollack's solution -- and I do -- you will admire The Threatening Storm. It is intelligent, balanced, and measured; a model of fair-minded analysis on a topic that rarely gets any. Before you make up your mind on Iraq, read this book."
-Fareed Zakaria, editor of Newsweek International
