I love the story. One of my favorite charities is called "Puppies Behind Bars," where prisoners actually train dogs used to help those in need. Usually these prisoners are lifers or those with sentences long enough to think society has written them off. The puppies get trained, the people who need trained dogs have more available than they otherwise would, and the prisoners get to accomplish something for the public good. The only negative is that my grandnieces think I'm arresting defenseless puppies and sending them off to Leavenworth. <G>
