So why did the deficit double under Bush? It is a matter of public record the deficit doubled under Bush from 5 to 10 trillion.

When clinton left he left a surplus of over 250 billion as I remember. In fact under Clinton they were projecting having the debt paid of by 2012. Bush made short work of that by giving the big tax cuts and stsrting a stupid war.

I know we have only spent about one trilllion on the war so far, although they expect the final bill to be three trillion.

Over one trillion went for tax cuts to the very rich. Are you very rich?

So what was the other three trillion spent on? Probably more tax cuts for the rich-lol.

I do not know where it went, just the final figure.
