Support for SH was limited to the period when he privided a counterweight to Iran which made perfect sense in that time period....

Don't recall ever saying that I thought "Imperialism" was a 'good idea', or that it 'worked'..... :-)

(Are you trying to make the argument that all of our involvement in Afghanistan is based upon "Imperialism"?)
