It was fascinating. Grassley definitely impressed me as being thoughtful and surprisingly well informed, but the whole thing seemed a bit staged ... the questioners on average were just too articulate, the crowd too polite, etc, no one booed when he contradicted them. Some kind of sane conservatives on parade thing, making him look good and very moderate in the process. But the fact remains, the drumbeat's accelerating ... hang them high, dude. <g>
