Come again?! What kind of fiscal responsibility is that? If you can't afford the war, either don't have it or cut spending elsewhere to pay for the war. But of course if you are a crappy politician who wants to have his war and not sacrifice his votes, then you'll just do the fiscally irresponsible thing and tell people to go to Disneyland and live as usual while you attend to the war through deficit spending.
