too much rain in sugarcane growing areas=less sugar but more hydrodelectricity power since both, sugar cane and largest dams are in the same area.

Brazil is coming out of a dry spell that last very long time. (sugar growers were having a nice time) Dams were being managed to keep up with power consumption and dams were getting drier.

Now the big rain fall the last couple of years corrects that.

When we say God is Brazilian we are not joking!
