"What are those tactics?"

Well, you have to admit that it is unfair to ask wingnuts to stop lying and tell the truth...

Ted, > What are those tactics?

- Accusing all of the protesters of being shills for the health insurance industry.

- Portraying them as part of the fringe and not part of the mainstream, despite polls showing growing unease over health care reform.

- Calls by Obama himself to essentially intimidate the opposition or drown out their protests.

- The initial attempt to ram health care legislation through. This was clearly done to try and avoid the opposition from raising legitimate concerns.

All of these tactics have backfired, as the polls show. That's the trick with Tenchu's 2nd rule of partisan politics. You have to know exactly how to silence the opposition. ;-)
