I'm for the eventual phase out of Prop. 13 and the eventual phase out of home mortgage interest deduction on taxes, even though I own a home with an inflated value but no equity in it. How is that benefitting myself? I'm for policies that get us off of foreign oil and encourage less driving of cars, even though I drive to work every day and don't take mass transit on a regular basis. How is that benefitting myself? I'm actually pro-choice (with restrictions, of course) and anti capital punishment. How is that benefitting myself? You come up with all this bullshit in your mind, thinking that I can just be stereotyped and treated like another Rush "dittohead," when the truth is that like you, I too am a complex person with personal biases and life experiences that define me.
