FIVE? FIVE REASONS? WHO NEEDS FIVE? Isn't it rather obvious why newspapers are dying? Do we really need five reasons? And this guy's premise is ridiculous. Murdoch will make people pay for news. How? He is providing a premium grade product. People will pay for Fox News when CNN and MSNBC are sitting there free of charge. Why? Because Fox is relatively unbiased, reliable, and fair. When Murdoch starts charging for web access, CNN will follow suit, and CNN will collapse from it. You can't charge for crap. The NYT is selling crap.
