I didn't say he was spewing the Republican line, I said he was advocating the line of Republicans who actually had a line, as opposed to the "death panel" spewers. Sadly, the "death panel" spewage seems to be a lot more popular than talking about alternatives among Republicans, near as I can tell. Moving away from employer based health insurance isn't unreasonable on the face of it, but it would require a more massive restructuring than anything currently being considered.
