Yes, something like that, but what damage does it do? Is it the beginning of the end? He's got his left to worry about, but they don't have numbers. However, they have the media and academia.

Any socialized health will be a disaster, but it could be like a slow moving death. Take a decade or two to expand, so the younger ones don't know what they've lost.

When you don't know anything else, you don't miss what you've lost, but the mental attitude has changed. You've become more dependent on the govt.

I believe you are correct, but their are a hook on his plans.

One thing is certain and that is that he is desperately attempting to pass more legislation than FDR and actually believes that will be his legacy.

The second is that he knows once they get their foot in the door they can water drop the insurers through the vague passages any legislation will offer. Once they have a government plan for cradle to (early)grave coverage they will dominate the industry. The taxes, fines and other misdirected revenue will result in the largest transfer of wealth to the non performers that this world has ever seen.

While we are at it, the benefits already given to single parents already create an effective equalization of disposable income between the low income earners who have dependent children and people earning more than twice as much.

The alleged "Earned Income Credit" not only grants unfair advantage to the single individual, it encourages those people not raise children in a two family parent family. If a single parent has more than one dependent, they simply split the dependents and both claim "Earned Income" credits. They don't pay any federal taxes and get rewarded with large grants every April 15.

Obama wants to double the Earned Income credits. Since his mother lived by scamming the system long before hippies discovered it, he wants to reward people just like his Mom and in effect reward little Obama for what she never gave him.

It is a pretty sick issue, but the MSM/press has never delved into Obama's past and his these are things that shape a person's personality.

Just like Zell Miller recalls his mother building their home with stones from the creek, Obama remembers his mother applying for welfare etc.

I am not attempting to change the subject, I believe that Obama is being very clear in what he is doing. His words both past and present suggest he is being very direct in his goals and less direct in how he will reach them.

His suggestion that "any bill" is good enough is correct. It fulfils both his goals by passing as much legislation as possible and redefining and tweaking any legislation to further his socialist scheme.
