I thought you were a big fan of medical imaging Dave? Medical imaging's main use is disease prevention - early detection and diagnosis!

Diagnosis, yes. Prevention? Not so much. Yes, an annual chest x-ray, fine. But by a very large margin medical imaging is predominantly a diagnostic tool. Whether it is X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, or a Pipida scan, it is predominantly diagnostic -- at least at this point in time.

Do you also believe that prevention doesn't save money with your car?

Cars are not people.

It's you ideologues that are the morons. Preventative care saves money and lives.

I'll agree it can save lives, but it does not save money. This is proven well beyond the slightest doubt. Krauthammer's article explains it perfectly, and frankly, so that any 7th grader can understand it.

I'm not sure how stupid a person has to be not to be able to understand what he wrote about it.
