The more I think of it, the reason Obama beat out Hill may h/b that so many people just don't want anymore of the Clintonian drama. They and the whole bunch around them are disgraces. Course, now we have Chicago thugs instead of bubbas - not an improvement. But a lot of voters didn't realize that last year.

It seems that ever so often the electorate takes leave of its senses and votes in a radical Dem, Carter and Obama being the worst examples. Clinton was slimy but politically canny. Obama and Carter are both political naifs. Unless Obama comes to his senses in a Clintonian way and moves to a moderate position (I don't see it happening), he's going to be One and Done.
