Written by Paul as a effort to top Townsend's, "I Can See For Miles", which some reporter said was the heaviest/rudest thing written to date. Before Jaco Pastorius (who took up bass after hearing Sir Paul) and before Geddy Lee, one man changed the way bass would be played forever after.
