Ah, foolish S, you suck-umbed to the blandishments of your BROKER??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

So did I, for a while. He suggested that I should not sell a certain stock that I have been holding for a reasonable period of time for reasonably good gains, just because I feared that "it was going to fall through the crust to the center of the earth and we would all die". At least I think those were my words, because that was my EXACT thought process (and no, Penni, it was none of the delicate issues of which we have spoken).

At any rate, I fought him with every intellectual bit of weaponry available to me (all one of them, and a very small bit it is, too) and prevailed. So I am now sitting on a fairly decent pile of cash with which to weather the coming CRUNCH.

A CRUNCH is like a STONK, except that it lasts for several months, and makes people wish that they had hid their cash in the laundry hamper instead of investing it.

Gotta go now, the laundry hamper beckons...
