Hmm, in thinking about it, in the book Marley and Me, the author lived in West Palm, and related several encounters with crime while living there. That was 20 years ago, it's gotta be worse now....

Pretty much always been like that. I used to live in the small two story condo across the street from the Palm Beach Yacht club on north Flagler in the eighties, things got so bad they had to hire security with real German police dogs cause regular security would have been eaten alive. On the plus side it was only a few minutes from the Blue Front Barbeque on Palm Beach Lakes boulevard. It was always a great place for getting murdered and then a bunch of dumb ass northerners paid $500,000 for the privilege of living there.
