He would have lost either way. He will probably steal all he can before he leaves. I think he not only misjudged the Independents, but the real Democrats as well. I don't mean the new elitist Dems. I mean the old coal miner, tractor pull , military history, regular folks.

he thought the stimulus vote would not hurt him. he came back against the open union voting against it to try to recover after the union ran tv ads for several weeks saying what a great guy he is in supporting the stimulus bill. so he stiffed them. he has two democrats running against him. he may not make it past the primary.

twoomey on the other hand is so far right i doubt he could beat any other democrat in pa. of course this fight over health care is helping him. it could end up, throw out the bums and put anyone in..
