Good for these older people keep protesting-----you've been taken advantage of by every sector---------the stockmarket via the Madoff types have taken your retirement funds, your houses have deteriorated in value, companies don't extend their medical insurance programs after retirement often forcing you to Social Security. Dean Said: The town halls are not about health care,” he said. “They’re about being angry.” It’s also about generational change, he said, indicating the majority of the protesters at the town halls were older people, and their group was getting smaller and smaller. “They don’t look anything like the generation that voted for Obama,” Dean said. “These people feel threatened.” He likened it to when he signed off on civil unions as governor of Vermont. When he went to neighborhoods where he normally would be treated with applause and gratitude, he would instead be greeted by people shouting at him. The key, he said, is some people are resistant to change, because “a certain set of things they could believe in” were taken away. MJ COMMENT: "Well congratulations Howard Dean-----you have just given the Republicans and Independents a reason to vote against the Democrats. These are the people who made America great and you, Howard Dean, are discounting their very being-----the people who sacrificed so that many of the Obama supporters could go to college and have jobs----the grandparents and parents of the young who have drunk your koolaid. Dean the kind of change you are advocating is why the people are angry. Mr. Howard Dean------someday you will be old----you will not be heard-----you will want to get angry. However, if you accomplish what you are hoping for just know you will be living with the change and wondering why you ever called for and supported the change. Mr. Dean you lament that-----“They don’t look anything like the generation that voted for Obama,” Dean said. “These people feel threatened.” Thanks Mr. Dean you throw the old, the disabled, Americans under the train. Thanks for the gift that just keeps on giving------your political rhetoric is a true treasure for coming elections. mj
