Don, why don't you point out all the "real attempts at budget management" that occurred when the Republicans controlled the government during the Bush Administration? The "fact of the matter" is that NONE of these guys is going to do anything that would jeopardize their Cushy Jobs!! You want something "unbiased"? Well, let me tell you that I think Tort Reform should be HIGH on the list of any healthcare reform. You can't cut healthcare costs if EVERY healthcare worker has some ambulance chaser breathing down their neck every time they make a decision. But that's the bailiwick of the Democrats, just like we aren't ALLOWED to negotiate with the drug companies because that's the bailiwick of the Republicans. Everybody has their own dog in the fight, so we get the leftovers after they carve up their stuff.
