I wonder if maybe ALS patients actually do better in the UK, because everyone has access to some care. I noticed with some degenerative diseases that a prognosis is sometimes better in the UK- for a country with "Death Squads" that struck me as pretty funny.

FWIW I never met anyone who had anything but positive things to say about the UK health system- and I did chat with several people in hospital waiting rooms and lounges- those recieving care and their families. I was at a good hospital, and I realize that- and in any country care is uneven (it sure is in the US).

Life is too short to argue with folks who just hate you for who you are and where you post. Much better to just try to ignore- no matter how much they can't ignore you :-)
