It took WDC a few weeks to base last summer before the run up. Given the current sentiment, it may take awhile to find its base here. I don't think there is a need to jump on it immediately. Just my opinion, though, and it seems I'm wrong a lot these days.

<Somewhat off topic> Alien, I'm watching WDC go down, down today (having sold almost all of what I had off last week).

I think once the knife stops falling it could be worth buying. By all reports, lots of PC's are selling, but they're more and more with lower ASP's. Isn't that WDC's ballpark?

Also, I just have lots of belief in Haggerty. Once it stops going down, and starts back up...I may head back in.

There's lots of worry about PC industry right now. Probably overdone. Growth less than thought for Dell et all prob. But WDC expectations are pretty low...

What you think?

Regards, Doug

Say everyone, how about meeting over in irc #rttrader at 7-8pm left coast time (10-11 Exchange Standard Time) to see if its easier.

I won't be there, I'm going to a new Italian restaurant in Palo Alto with a long time SGI employee (maybe ex-employee) for a birthday dinner, but I'll leave the browser going so I can lurk later.
