He's a face of the Democrat party. That's how they think. It's about getting their own way, regardless of the consequences to the country and whether the electorate wants what they want to shove down people's throats. Now they're pretending to remove the public option. Sure they are. Buried somewhere in fine print will be the seeds of the public option that they will just have to cultivate through administrative procedures, regulations, executive orders, and a slug of new czars. Or they can build on it after the economy picks up. I think it's critical that nothing get passed. I do not trust Obama or any of his people. They had a chance to earn our trust and failed miserably through constant lying and sleight of hand tricks.
