IMHO he taught 'context' rather than 'content'... in other words it's HOW you do it, now WHAT you do (His great commandment, more important than all the others). I'm sure he tempered the profundity of that (casting out the 10 commandments, since you automatically heed them if you're doing everything in the higher emotional states) by not negating the past, but recontextualizing it. Essentially he eliminated "rules" (which can always be intellectualized away) in favor of living in a loving way. JMO DAK
