There are a lot of retiring/dying farmers, and all the unemployed city slickers probably aren't bringing much cash with them, especially once they price a new combine when the banks aren't lending. I don't know where you're located, but if you're in an agricultural area, you can make some connections via the coffee shops or the seed and implement sellers. You can probably make decent returns without donating to bankers or fund managers.
