Actually, when you look at prevention "narrowly" you can find niches where it DOES save money. It is the broader view that is not financially feasible. Spoken like a true bean counter that misses the point by a country mile. When you look at prevention narrowly, you implement it without consideration to risk factors and without process learning, and you limit your thinking to medical prevention only, without consideration to preventive education....you live in the south...look around.
