And he is on the verge of doing what you suggest, I think. The insurance companies played on the racial sentiments of middle America and their penchant for not thinking their actions through before they act. Now that Obama has said that he is willing to settle for not having the public option, I think he has floated this to gauge the reaction of the public. Get organized, get out there and write to your Senators and Congressmen particularly if you are in the Red States and your rep is a Democrat.
