Remember, LWLG is about much more than modulators. LWLG may have fallen behind in the modulator market but that is only a small sliver of what LWLG has to offer. One mega partnership and/or license (with a lot of upfront cash) will make you forget about any modulator timeline. This may not be an either/or proposition (GGOX vs. LWLG). Both companies can be winners and very profitable. IMHO, there maybe a scenario where GGOX establishes the modulator market and creates price point (on the high end)with the modulators. Over time the price of the modulators will have to come down to achieve widespread market acceptance. But of course GGOX will want to maintain its profit margin. Enter LWLG who sells its electro-optic polymer to GGOX for a fraction of the price of GGOX's own polymer (if you include cost of packaging). GGOX could maintain (if not increase) its profit margins while reducing the price of its modulators. At the same time, LWLG will profit handsomely without having to actually produce modulators. This also will free (the "VISION") "Lightwave Logic's prototyping team to be kept busy for years developing and improving new materials and providing solutions to system integrators that have specific application requirements". In fact this last sentence really says it all. LWLG will not be in the business of mass producing anything. Instead the PROTOTYPING TEAM will be providing solutions to system integrators. GGOX is a system integrator. GATES.
